About the Role
We are delighted to be working with a reputable NHS trust in the North West who are looking to recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist with a special interest in ERCP and EUS to join their team.
This is a fantastic time to join the trust as they have recently undergone a multi million pound development to expand their services and refurbish the endoscopy unit.
Situated in a beautiful coastal town, the trust services a resident population of over 400,000 people, is home to over 10 million holiday makers every year. It's close to a major international airport, excellent schools, and plenty of sports and leisure amenities.
The job plan is based around 10 PAs and will be split between 7 direct clinical care, 1.5 supporting professional activities, 1.5 on call duties.
Main Duties of the role

We are working with one of the largest NHS Trust on the South Coast and are assisting with their search for an Emergency Medicine Consultant. This is an exciting time to join a department which has recently undergone significant renovation and expansion and has been rated “good” by the Care Quality Commission”. You will be joining a team of 7 Consultants and 10 Specialty Doctors and 20 SHOs.
The job plan consists of 10 PAs split into 7.5 direct clinical care and 2.5 SPA. The on-call rota will be 1:6 weekends and 1:6 weekdays (both on site).
The successful applicant will need to be on the GMC specialist register and have completed all parts of FRCEM.
