Consultant Radiologist

I am recruiting for a Head and Neck Radiologist to work in one of London’s most prestigious trusts. This is for a permanent or fixed term contract.
The job has been created due to expansion of the service.
The trust has a large ENT, H&N, Thyroid, Skull Base & Ophthalmology centre with multiple sub-specialist clinicians.
This is a large, expanding Radiology department with over 100 Radiologists.
The department has close ties with the college and offers a wealth of research and teaching opportunities and has recently been awarded £1bn Kings fund for the development of AI in healthcare.
The successful candidate will have completed formal training in Head and Neck Radiology, and will have experience in H&N ultrasound, including fine needle aspiration and biopsy procedures, and all aspects of H&N cross-sectional imaging and plain film reporting. An interest in salivary intervention and /or trauma imaging would be encouraged and accommodated. The post-holder will contribute to several benign and cancer MDTs.
The Trust is a Major Trauma Centre. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the general work of the department which includes the provision of 7-day consultant led reporting service. The Trust provides consultant level support for inpatient and acute imaging between 5-8pm which will be included on one weekday evening on a rotational basis as part of the candidate's job plan. The candidate will also be expected to join the consultant roster on a weekend report checking service equating to 2-3 days / year of 9hrs on each day, which will be remunerated via TOIL (time off in lieu) or sessional pay.
An interest in training and research is strongly encouraged in accordance with the strategic aims of the Academic Health Sciences Centre.

Consultant Histopathologist

Elderly Medicine Consultant

We are delighted to be partnered with a large NHS University Foundation Trust based in the East Midlands who are looking to recruit 3 x fixed term Locum Consultants within Elderly Medicine.
The Elderly Medicine Division across both sites is made up of 19 Consultants and 6 Acute Inpatient Geriatric wards.
The Department has recently expanded into the community providing support to General Practice surgeries and selected care homes as part of a pilot into future community models.
The department is active in teaching both medical students and at postgraduate level. There is also a developing research program, alongside regular audits and a developing set of KPI’s. The team are enthusiastic educators and enjoy supervising junior colleagues in helping them to achieve their goals, guiding them successfully through their specialist training.
The division are looking for a candidate who can build on the success of current services and help develop them further in the future as they strive to make care for the frail older patients better than ever.
The Proposed Job plan will consist of 8.5 PA's DCC and 1.5 SPA on average and will include General Medicine on calls.

Acute Medicine Consultant

The Acute Medicine department has made significant developments in the delivery of care by a strong dynamic group of consultants and nursing staff.
The division continue to see approximately 20,000 patients a year within the 51-bedded Acute Medical Unit (AMU), in addition to a weekday turnover of around 30-55 patients in their dedicated Acute Assessment Unit (AAU).
Currently the team consists of 12 Consultants in Acute Medicine and 37 Consultant Physicians supporting the on-call rota.
Consultants in Acute Medicine do 1:12 weekend on-call. There are a further 3 Consultant Physicians who have a part time commitment to the acute medicine roster.
The role is a 10 PA post with the opportunity of 2 additional PA's for development within a specialist interest.

Interventional Consultant

I am recruiting for an interventional Consultant for a Teaching Hospital based in Yorkshire on a NHS fixed term contract.

The appointees will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of vascular interventional radiological services to enable the trust to fulfil its service agreements with its commissioners. Vascular radiologists do not undertake general radiology reporting and involvement in non-vascular interventional procedures is based on matching clinical applications to the team's specific range of expertise.

We are working with one of the largest NHS Trust on the South Coast and are assisting with their search for an Emergency Medicine Consultant. This is an exciting time to join a department which has recently undergone significant renovation and expansion and has been rated “good” by the Care Quality Commission”. You will be joining a team of 7 Consultants and 10 Specialty Doctors and 20 SHOs.
The job plan consists of 10 PAs split into 7.5 direct clinical care and 2.5 SPA. The on-call rota will be 1:6 weekends and 1:6 weekdays (both on site).
The successful applicant will need to be on the GMC specialist register and have completed all parts of FRCEM.
The trust is based on a beautiful seaside resort and has excellent transport links into London and other neighboring towns and cities, along with easy access to a Major International Airport.
