Paediatric Radiologist

I am recruiting a Paediatric Radiologist on a Fixed term or permanent contract in one of the UKs leading childrens hospitals and major trauma centres.
The successful applicant will share responsibility with seven other colleagues for the provision of all aspects of paediatric imaging in our Trust and the Trusts within the network. The team provide second opinions in cases of suspected physical abuse to a wide range of hospitals from across the UK.
This post include sessions for reporting time for Plain Film, MRI, CT and nuclear medicine, performing ultrasound and fluoroscopy procedures and participation in multidisciplinary meetings.
The Paediatric Radiology Department is newly refurbished. There are two X-ray Rooms, two Ultrasound rooms and a Fluoroscopy suite. Paediatric CT and MRI scans and Interventional Radiology procedures are undertaken within the wider imaging department located nearby.
The Paediatric Radiology Team consists of 7 Consultant Paediatric Radiologists and a team of Paediatric Sonographers (3 WTE), Specialist Paediatric Radiographers (3 WTE), Rotational Paediatric Plain Film Radiographers (2 WTE), led by a Lead Paediatric Radiographer. The team are supported by two Paediatric Imaging Assistants, who support with reception duties, ultrasound and fluoroscopy cases.
We offer a comprehensive range of specialist paediatric services. We provides a tertiary paediatric and neonatal services to the adjacent areas, surgical services and neurosurgical services. Additionally the hospital provides supra-regional services for paediatric spinal surgery, rheumatology, nephro-urology and cystic fibrosis.

We are looking for a team player with an interest in laboratory haematology, myeloma and myeloid disorders, with an enthusiasm for developing the haematology diagnostic services at UHS, including the regional SI-HMDS.
You will work as part of both the laboratory haematology and myeloma and myeloid teams alongside other clinical colleagues with specialist interests and clinical scientists involved in the diagnosis of haematological malignancies. An interest in education and training would also be welcomed.

I am partnered with an Acute NHS trust situated in Buckinghamshire seeking a Consultant in Anaesthesia with a specialist interest in Pain Medicine.
An opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant and thriving Anaesthetic, Pain Medicine and Critical Care department as a full-time substantive Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain medicine. This is a new post arising from a departmental expansion to address the challenges of the waiting list recovery program.
Applicants are especially welcomed with an additional anaesthetic interest in preoperative assessment, trauma, orthopaedic and regional anaesthesia, obstetrics, emergency anaesthesia, acute pain or ophthalmology.
The successful applicant will join a team of 50 consultants (including 16 Intensivists) and 18 specialty Doctors. The department has ~10 anaesthetic specialty trainees, ~2 ICM specialty trainees, ~14 core anaesthetic trainees and 3-4 foundation trainees and is considered to provide excellent anaesthetic training by the School of Anaesthesia. There are a variable number of locally employed anaesthetic and ICU trust registrars, and the department supports Fellowship posts in regional anaesthesia, echocardiography, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), perioperative medicine, and medical education.

This is a new post designed to strengthen the Trust Community Paediatric department. You will join the existing team of Community Paediatricians to deliver community paediatric services to the children and families covered by the ICB in the local area and will spend approximately one day a week working on your negotiated special interest aligned to supporting the team's strategic objectives. If you do not have a particular special interest, this time will be filled through the provision of general paediatric clinics. The service has undergone transformation and now has a comprehensive multi-professional team offering a supportive working environment. Colleagues include pharmacists, nurses, psychologists and GPs.
