We are delighted to be working with an Acute Hospital in Lincolnshire who are seeking a Locum Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine x 6 to join their team to join their team on fixed-term basis. The Trust is situated in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire and is one of the biggest acute hospital trusts in England, serving a population of more than 700,000 people. We provide acute and specialist services to people in Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties. We have an annual income of £710 million (22/23) and we employ nearly 8,600 people. The role of Consultant will be contracted to a weekly job plan of 10 programmed activities (PA). Within our roles, we consistently strive to support the community of Lincolnshire in providing specialist medical care to those who need it. As a team, we all have an active involvement in our improvement journey to making both the organisation and the ICU an even better place to work, ultimately aiming to achieve higher standards of care in the service that we provide to our adult Patients. The ICU itself consists of 11 level 3 beds or equivalent. As a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine, you will be working within a busy clinical department as the ‘go to’ person for providing advanced critical care to the adult Patients that need us most. Alongside this, you will be supporting other teams and departments with your expertise whether that be verbally over the telephone or by responding to them in a different ward. Cardiology Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Yorkshire for a new Consultant Cardiologist to join an existing team of nine Consultant Cardiologists working in this successful Teaching Hospital. This is a post for a consultant cardiologist with an interest in complex devices; this will include sessions to carry out implantation and follow up of complex devices. This may include sessions in the catheter lab at our neighbouring hospital. You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of a seven day a week service however this can be delivered flexibly to maintain work life balance or support a specialist interest at a tertiary centre. CARDIOLOGY AND CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY SERVICES Providing tertiary Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery Services for a population of approximately 1.8 million people as well as Secondary Care Cardiology Services. Cardiology, Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery services have been housed within the purpose-built Hospital since April 1997.  The facilities include 5 cardiac catheter labs with a 6-bay Day Case Trolley Area, 5 dedicated surgical operating theatres, a 12 bedded Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and an 8-bedded Coronary Care Unit. The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Service The Arrhythmia Service consists of 7 Consultant Cardiologists including two specialist device implanters. Services include implantation of complex devices, conduction-system pacing, leadless pacemakers, subcutaneous ICD implantation and extraction, with high risk extractions undertaken as hybrid procedures jointly with cardiothoracic surgical colleagues. There is also a post-CCT Clinical fellow, a team of Arrhythmia Nurse Specialists including an Arrhythmia Care Coordinator (4 posts) and dedicated administrative support with a single point of access. I am recruiting a Paediatric Radiologist on a Fixed term or permanent contract in one of the UKs leading childrens hospitals and major trauma centres. The successful applicant will share responsibility with seven other colleagues for the provision of all aspects of paediatric imaging in our Trust and the Trusts within the network. The team provide second opinions in cases of suspected physical abuse to a wide range of hospitals from across the UK. This post include sessions for reporting time for Plain Film, MRI, CT and nuclear medicine, performing ultrasound and fluoroscopy procedures and participation in multidisciplinary meetings. The Paediatric Radiology Department is newly refurbished. There are two X-ray Rooms, two Ultrasound rooms and a Fluoroscopy suite. Paediatric CT and MRI scans and Interventional Radiology procedures are undertaken within the wider imaging department located nearby. The Paediatric Radiology Team consists of 7 Consultant Paediatric Radiologists and a team of Paediatric Sonographers (3 WTE), Specialist Paediatric Radiographers (3 WTE), Rotational Paediatric Plain Film Radiographers (2 WTE), led by a Lead Paediatric Radiographer. The team are supported by two Paediatric Imaging Assistants, who support with reception duties, ultrasound and fluoroscopy cases. We offer a comprehensive range of specialist paediatric services. We provides a tertiary paediatric and neonatal services to the adjacent areas, surgical services and neurosurgical services.
