The trust provide daily geriatrician led ward rounds on the medical admissions unit, frailty SDEC services, a 38 bed inpatient frailty unit, an acute stroke unit and associated rehabilitation and outpatient stroke services, orthogeriatric and general surgical liaison services, Parkinson's disease service. The successful applicant will participate in the delivery and development of services for older people within the hospital, Your timetable will be tailored to individual skills and subspeciality expertise, but likely to focus on working with existing colleagues in front door frailty. I am partnered with a Teaching hospital in the North West of England that are looking to recruit into their Oncology team - specifically looking for Clinical Oncologists on a substantive or fixed term basis. The trust would like to hear from Clinical Oncologists with special interests in; Gynaecology, Lung - will consider other special interests too.  Requirements; Full GMC registration (with Specialist registration or 6 months within gaining this) About the role & department itself:  First hospital in the North of England to be able to offer our patients the latest advances in robotic technology  21 Clinical Oncology Consultants, 5 Medical Oncology Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 11 Clinical Oncology Specialty Registrars, 3 Med Oncology Specialty Registrars  The role will contain approximately 7.5 - 8.5 DCC PAs (including clinic activity, admin, attending MDT's etc) Up to 2.5 PAs on average per week depending upon interests and DCC PAs with 1.5 PAs being core SPA. Services the trust can support: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and Radiotherapy.  A JD is available to review if you are interested.

The department is keen to accommodate special interests; we are happy to discuss and consider appropriate changes in the weekly job plan. Especially in the areas of: ·       Perioperative medicine(including surgical/ Orthogeriatrics/ ect.) ·       Frailty ·       Community ·       Same day emergency care.   The post-holder will take part in the department’s regular teaching to medical students, junior doctors and other health professionals. Job Duties: The trust is looking for a committed and passionate colleague to support and develop our Acute Frailty Service  The job is offered as a part-time post (6PA). I am partnered with a District General Hospital situated in the South East, seeking a Locum Consultant Histopathologist. The trust is seeking to recruit a 10PA post for a Consultant Cellular Pathologist for the trust. The appointee will be required to be medically qualified and to have broad experience in diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology. It is expected that the appointee will hold Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists or show evidence of equivalent training and experience. The appointee will join the existing team to provide specialist care to this growing population of patients and raise departmental profiles through teaching and education. The successful applicant will support the current delivery of histopathology and cytopathology services, including contribution to the development of these services at the trust. The post would also benefit from taking the lead in one or more subspecialty disciplines. There is scope for negotiation within the department as to which cancer site the appointee will act as lead in, however there is currently a need to cover the Gynecology screening and non-screening workload and MDT, non gynae cytology workload, GIT workload and upper GIT MDT.
