About the Role I am pleased to be working with a leading Acute General Hospital that is seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Dermatologist. The post-holder will be expected to provide a service to patients of the trust, General Practitioners and to attend multi-disciplinary meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to work within multi-disciplinary teams in providing high quality clinical care. It is anticipated work will be undertaken on three sites and closer to the patients home. The Trust is seeking to extend services to GP surgeries/health centres etc and job plans may be revised in due course. The post-holder will provide support to the A&E department and acute medicine to ensure timely appropriate care and patient flow through the hospital. The post-holder will provide consultation and advisory service to clinical colleagues in the Trust and Primary Care. The post-holder will attend cross county and cross site meetings. The post-holder will collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high quality, timely service and to work towards meeting the Trusts and departmental objectives. We are working with a General Hospital based in the South West who are looking to recruit Acute Medicine Consultants for their department. The Trust can offer Fixed term contracts up to 24 months or Permanent contracts for candidates who hold GMC Specialist Registration. The department are looking for candidates who have a keen interest in Acute Medicine, ideally they will be close to submitting the Portfolio pathway formerly known as CESR. The post has an attractive job plan: 6 Direct Clinical Care, 2 SPA, 2 flexible PA's within AM. Consultants are supportive and enjoy collaborative working. The team hold regular acute medicine team meetings for updates and planning. The team is flexible in accommodating the interests of new colleagues. The Hospital offers a range of opportunities for new consultants to be involved in QI, service development, IT projects, research and in education and training. We have been instructed by a large teaching hospital in the North West to assist in their search for a consultant in General Medicine.  You will be joining a well established team and be responsible for the care of approximately 15 acute hospital care inpatients, inpatient rehabilitation outpatient clinics and on-call for general medicine. I am partnered with an NHS trust based in the South, seeking to appoint a Geriatric consultant with an interest in Acute Geriatrics on an NHS fixed term or permanent contract. The department are undergoing expansion with a complete emergency floor redesign and rebuild. We are a 350 bed District General Hospital with a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services. The successful applicant will participate in the delivery and development of services for older people in our hospital. Their timetable will be tailored to individual skills and subspeciality expertise, but likely to focus on working with existing colleagues in front door frailty. We provide daily geriatrician led ward rounds on the medical admissions unit, frailty SDEC services, a 38 bed inpatient frailty unit, an acute stroke unit and associated rehabilitation and outpatient stroke services, orthogeriatric and general surgical liaison services, Parkinson's disease service. We have developed a fully integrated acute frailty unit in the acute medical unit which provides daily weekday geriatrician ward rounds and MDT review. A Frailty SDEC service provides rapid access appointments, medical falls reviews and direct reviews of suitable ED patients. Geriatricians also provide ward rounds in community hospitals and input to locality virtual wards, alongside providing an advice line to local GPs, community frailty teams and paramedics. We have close links with colleagues working in our local community hospitals with some colleagues working across the two areas providing some sessions for inpatient care in these hospitals. Our multidisciplinary department is working together towards becoming a Centre of Excellence for the Care of Older People. The post holder would be expected to contribute to the all-age medical take, with frequency 1 in 12 weekdays and 1 in 8 weekends. The county with its outstanding scenery and rugged coastline covers a large geographical area, characterised by several small towns, each with a distinct identity. The coastline is protected by World Heritage as a site of outstanding natural beauty. We attract a lot of tourism as a prime holiday centre with the population doubling in the summer months since both the coastline and the countryside offer a wide range of interests for people to pursue. There are excellent water sport facilities and was the venue for the Olympics Water sports. Cultural, sporting and social events are hosted in the county all year round and there are transport links to London, Bristol and Europe. The county has very good state schools at all levels, and there are several private schools.  

We are working with an NHS Trust based in the East of England who are looking to recruit Emergency Medicine Specialty Doctors for their division. The Emergency Department, has recently had a new expansion and has opened 4 beds in resus; 16 Majors bays and fit to sit areas. 3 Rapid assessment/ambulance off load area. 6 bays in Ambulatory majors with a further 4 rooms for assessment. There is a dedicated paediatric facility consisting of a waiting room and 3 cubicles. Paediatric patients make up around 20% of the workload. There is 7 an Urgent Care are with 6 cubicles and waiting room for minor injury and illness patients. The hospital has a fully operational floodlit Helipad which provides easy access to emergency care for many of our patients who are injured/fall ill in the more remote areas of the region. The role is a 10 PA contract which can be divided into 8.5 DCC and 1.5 SPA time, there is support for CESR depending on what requirements the successful candidate has.
