About the Role
I am excited to announce a NHS fixed-term Consultant Pathologist positions in Skin, Head and Neck, and Gastroenterology specialties, based in London on a NHS fixed term contract. These roles offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment within the Cellular Pathology division of London Pathology.
Each post includes a maximum of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs). Successful candidates will collaborate closely with specialty leads, contributing to high-quality pathology services at the laboratory hub. The centralised Histopathology service operates within a state-of-the-art, ISO15189-accredited laboratory equipped with advanced technology, including digital scanning, voice recognition for reporting, and robust sample tracking.
Role Highlights:
Work as part of a specialty-focused team in an innovative pathology service.
Participate in service improvement initiatives, appraisals, and mandatory training.
Contribute to advanced diagnostic practices, supported by Genomics and Integrated Haematological Malignancy Diagnostics.
The trusts service manages over 25 million tests per year and continues to deliver significant improvements in turnaround times through extended working hours and advanced digital solutions.
