The successful candidate would be expected to have a 50/50 split between General Internal Medicine & Cardiology. 1 outpatient clinic per week. On calls – 1:10 weekends For the last three years, we have been ranked as the best NHS Trust to work for in the Midlands and in 2020 we were the third best Acute/Community NHS Trust in England. Requirements for the Consultant position Full GMC registration  MRCP UK or MRCP Ireland Consultant experience in the relative field  UK / NHS experience is essential As the trust is based in the Midlands, you will have access to international airports & outstanding education for any one with families / children.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to subspecialise in a relevant area, be involved in the department teaching programme and, experienced candidates, will be given the opportunity to undertake specialty training and advance their career through the CESR pathway. Consultant Radiologists x 3 Full GMC FRCR I am partnered with a fantastic district, General Hospital in the south of the UK seeking to appoint 3 General Radiologists on fixed term or substantive contracts. The successful candidate will have a good general background and undertake a share of the departments XR, CT & MRI including general hot and cold reporting sessions. They will also regularly report duty radiologist sessions. There is options to do home reporting with equipment provided by the trust. Dedicated time to develop a special interest will be allowed within the job plan according to the individual sub-specialty requirements. Sub-specialty interests that can be accommodated are as follows: Cardiothoracic: Main need it within thoracic imaging, but some cardiac imaging can also be provided. Lung Biopsies – is desirable, but if cannot do this then a willingness to learn, as training can potentially be provided for the right person. Lung MDT – ability to lead the MDT H&N: Associated FNACs needed. Full range of imaging H&N MDT Urology and/or Gynae: Full range of CT & MRI If interested please make sure that you included a detailed description of your general experience, as well as details around all the experience you have in your area of interest (as above). You will be expected to participate in the oncalls. Currently 1:12. Nights and weekends is outsourced. Interventional on call is separate. The hospitals radiology department also boasts the highest staff survey score for morale which is testament to the excellent team. The area has regularly featured as one of the best/happiest places to live in the UK, with a mix of beautiful scenery, rural village locations or city centres it has something for everyone.
