About the Role

We are working alongside a teaching hospital situated in the vibrant Yorkshire that are currently recruiting for Consultants for their Respiratory department.

This is an exciting time to join the Respiratory Medicine department as the trust further develop sub-specialty interests.
The trust are particularly keen to hear from candidates with an interest in Lung Cancer but a variety of other sub-specialties could also be accommodated including, but not limited to, Cystic Fibrosis, Sleep and NIV, Interstitial Lung Disease, COPD and developing community respiratory care.

The lung cancer service currently makes over 300 diagnoses per year and is well supported by a full MDT including colleagues from surgical centres as well as oncology therapies. They are committed to improving lung cancer performance through a range of innovations and are seeking colleagues who are inspired to drive through service change and achieve improvements in outcomes for all patients.

Key requirements 
Full GMC Registration 
MRCP UK or MRCP Ireland 
Consultant experience in the relative field.
Could potentially consider a UK based middle grade stepping into their first consultant role

We are recruiting for an experienced Geriatric Consultant to join a General hospital on the beautiful UK coastline on a fixed term or substantive basis. The trust provide daily geriatrician led ward rounds on the medical admissions unit, frailty SDEC services, a 38 bed inpatient frailty unit, an acute stroke unit and associated rehabilitation and outpatient stroke services, orthogeriatric and general surgical liaison services, Parkinson's disease service. The successful applicant will participate in the delivery and development of services for older people within the hospital, Your timetable will be tailored to individual skills and subspeciality expertise, but likely to focus on working with existing colleagues in front door frailty. We are partnered with a trust in the West Midland who are looking for a Elderly care Consultant to join them on a fixed term or substantive basis. Job Duties: The trust is looking for a committed and passionate colleague to support and develop our Acute Frailty Service  The job is offered as a part-time post (6PA). The appointed consultant will play a key role in the treatment of older adults accessing emergency care. They will work closely with our emergency, acute medicine and community teams to complete comprehensive geriatric assessment of frail older adults in crisis. This is an established service with excellent potential for ongoing development.
