Dermatology Consultant

We are excited to be working alongside a University trust in the East Midlands who are looking for a Dermatology Consultant to join their expanding department on a fixed term or substantive basis.

Requirements 
Full GMC Registration 
MRCP UK 
Consultant experience in the relative field 

The main duties of the job include the maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of a Dermatology Service, you will be sharing with colleagues’ responsibilities for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Service. You will be expected to teach and train junior staff and medical students. Other responsibilities include participating in NIHR portfolio studies and actively participating in both departmental & Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance & audit.

The trust sees on average 4810 OP appointments per day. Whilst being the 4th busiest Trauma & Orthopaedic outpatients department in England - an average of 2077 per week. An average of 1115 patients are seen in A&Es across their network every day - 3rd largest in the country’s The hospital admit an average of 195 emergency patients daily.
