Key Responsibilities:
- To provide 3, site-specific oncological services.
- Attend the multi-disciplinary team meetings for the sites covered.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues across the county and wider Cancer Network in order to deliver an equitable and high quality service to all patients.
- To provide, to a high standard, the full range of specialist diagnosis, treatment, and care to patients requiring oncology services as outlined in the proposed program.
- To support the nursing team within the Douglas Macmillan Oncology Unit in order to provide a comprehensive outpatient (and outreach) chemotherapy service.
- To develop the clinical trials portfolio across cancer services, working with the Research Unit within the organisation and as part of the research network.
- Maintain own professional competence and personal development.
- Be part of the Core Cancer Management Team, taking on specific duties as discussed and agreed, this may include such elements as Acute Oncology Lead.

The Role
Post holders will join the daytime general paediatric team, providing cover to the Emergency Department and ambulatory service. The role also includes:
Delivery of general paediatric outpatient clinics
Participation in paediatric subspecialty clinics, depending on individual interests
Support of the neonatal service, including attending weeks on the Level 1 neonatal unit
Participation in a 1:8 neonatal consultant on-call-from-home rota
Candidates must have Level 2/3 neonatal experience and be confident in managing neonatal emergencies.
There is:
A consultant resident on site 24 hours a day
An additional general paediatric consultant on call from home to support the paediatric service
Currently no resident night commitment (this is expected to change following future service reconfiguration, with the neonatal unit planned to close over the next few years)
Job Plan
10 PA post (full time): 8 DCC + 2 SPA (pro rata for LTFT)

I am pleased to be working with a leading Acute General Hospital that is seeking to appoint a Consultant Histopathologist/Cytopathologist.
The successful applicant will support the delivery of high-quality histopathology and cytopathology services, with opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development and expansion of these services within the Trust. The post holder will also maintain one or two subspecialist interests, preferably in Gynaecological pathology (including colposcopy and MDT participation), medical liver pathology, haematopathology, and inflammatory skin disease.

I am pleased to be working with a leading Acute Teaching Hospital that is seeking to appoint up to three (3 FTE) Locum Consultant Histopathologists.
The department welcomes applicants with a specialist interest in Breast, Gynaecological, Uropathology, Neuropathology, and Hematopathology. Applicants with other subspecialty interests are also encouraged to apply, as the service can accommodate a wide range of expertise.
The hospital is in one of the greenest and most wooded cities in Europe, set among rolling hills and river valleys. I am pleased to confirm that I am working with a Large Acute District Hospital seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Cellular Pathologist on a one-year fixed term basis.
The department operates a degree of subspecialisation, and final job content will be agreed in consultation with consultant colleagues. There is a high diagnostic workload across the following subspecialty areas:

Dermatopathology
