About the Role
Consultant Oncologist – GU/Uro Focus
Northern Ireland – Long-Term Contract
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Consultant Oncologist with a focus on GU (Genitourinary) / Uro-oncology to join a leading Trust in Northern Ireland. This long-term contract role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a state-of-the-art Cancer Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing expert care for prostate and bladder cancer patients, with a focus on chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cancer services.
Requirements:
• Full GMC Registration.
• FRCR qualification.
• Experience in administering chemotherapy and radiotherapy in GU / Uro-oncology (prostate and bladder, no kidney work).
About the Trust and Cancer Centre: The Trust is home to an advanced cancer centre that has been operational since November 2016. This centre provides care for over 3,900 patients from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, emphasising cross-border partnerships in healthcare.
Key highlights include:
• A comprehensive multidisciplinary approach supported by cancer coordinators.
• Cutting-edge technology such as iterative cone-beam CT (iCBCT), 4D cone-beam CT (4D-CBCT), and MRI for radiotherapy planning.

I am partnered with an NHS trust based in the Midlands, seeking to appoint a Consultant Medical Oncologist on an NHS fixed term or permanent contract.
The successful post holder will join an innovative team of Consultant Oncologists and specialist Oncology care. Tumour site sub-specialities can be discussed at interview, however experience in breast oncology and melanoma oncology is preferred.

New Opportunity: Specialty Doctor in Oncology – Essex
I’m delighted to announce that I’m working with a Trust in Essex currently looking to recruit a Specialty Doctor in Oncology.
Person Specification
• Minimum of 4 years’ full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent if part-time), with at least 2 years in a recognised specialty training programme in Oncology, or equivalent experience and competencies

The Role
This position offers excellent experience for career development within Oncology. You’ll have opportunities for outpatient work and will provide oncological support to patients at Mid Essex Hospital, working closely with Consultants, junior doctors, and the palliative care nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support oncology patients, including those receiving outpatient chemotherapy
• Participate in and attend relevant MDT/MDM meetings
• Provide cross-cover for colleagues and support the Acute Oncology Service
• Assist in consultant-led outpatient clinics and cover the chemotherapy unit
• Maintain high-quality clinical records and participate in clinical audit
• Engage in continuing medical education and administrative duties related to patient care
