Some of the key duties and responsibilities are general including participation in Consultant on call rotas, specialist Clinics and outpatient clinics. Senior Clinical Fellow Tier 2 level Neonates

We are delighted to work with a well respected hospital based in the Lancashire area, which is looking to recruit a Senior Clinical Fellow Tier 2 level Neonates.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the neonatal intensive care specialty. This post offers the opportunity for successful candidates to develop and learn a range of skills in a tertiary neonatal intensive care unit including High Frequency Oscillation, inhaled Nitric Oxide, and Therapeutic Hypothermia. The new state of the art Unit is in the purpose-built Women and Children’s Building. The successful candidate will be part of the clinical team and will take part in the Tier Two, second on-call rota.

Job Summary
Applications are invited for a full-time post in the NICU department at the Hospital. The Senior Clinical Fellow post is ST4-8 equivalent and will be for 12 months.
Main duties of the job
Duties will be in the neonatal department on the Tier 2 rota. There will be a mixture of long day/night shifts [12.5 hours] and shorter day shifts. Duties will be divided between Intensive/High Dependency Care, Special and Transitional Care, and the care of infants in the post-natal wards. Duties will be shared with senior trainees [ST4-8] and senior Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and supervision and education will be provided by Consultants. Although the post is not formally recognised for specialist training by the NW of England Deanery, the incumbent will have an educational supervisor and access to the training opportunities afforded to other doctors in training in the department.
Manchester has very good transport links via car, train or tram. It also has an international airport with a low cost of living.

We are delighted to work with a well respected hospital based in the Lancashire area, which is looking to recruit a Community Consultant Paediatrician x2. They would also consider a speciality doctor who has strong experience in ASD, ADHD, neuro disability, Children Looked After, children in need and children with special educational needs.
The ideal applicant will have experience in all aspects of community paediatrics including child development, ASD, ADHD, neuro disability, Children Looked After, children in need and children with special educational needs.
You will have the ability to work independently but within a supportive team. Multiagency and multidisciplinary working is expected and encouraged.
An area of special interest to complement those already available in the Department would be welcomed and can be discussed. We are especially interested in someone with an interest/experience and/or a SPIN module in Paediatric Neurology/ epilepsy.
You will have ready access to senior opinion when required. Additional training will be made available for any areas a successful candidate has less experience. Career progression will be supported and encouraged via a named supervisor, mentoring, annual appraisal and job planning.
There are no on-call or acute responsibilities attached to this post. However, there are opportunities to interact with acute colleagues.

The successful candidate would be expected to have a 50/50 split between General Internal Medicine & Cardiology.
1 outpatient clinic per week.
On calls – 1:10 weekends

Consultant Haematologist

Im working alongside a University Hospital in London, that are looking for a UK based Haematology Consultant.
The Haematology department lies within the Women’s, Children’s and Clinical Services Division. The Consultants perform clinical and laboratory duties across sites. The Haematology Laboratory operates as a single merged service across-site with a unified management structure and a single Laboratory Lead. Haematoncology services (clinical care and chemotherapy delivery of patients requiring up to and including Level 3 services)
Haemoglobinopathy care is centralised at CMH within the newly refurbished specialised centre. The Brent Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Centre is an integral part of the Haematology department at CMH and provide Haemoglobinopathy testing, counselling, support and education of patients and the local community together with training of professional staff.
Service reconfiguration has resulted in the consolidation of all Haematology inpatients at the NPH whilst outpatient services offered at all sites of the Trust. Service transformation and reconfiguration is ongoing to ensure all patients across the Trust have access to the same specialist services but where appropriate have also access to follow up and day treatments closer to home.
The post-holder will be an integral part of the Haematology service provided to the Trust and the appointee will provide care for inpatient and outpatient haematology patients. There are weekly myeloid, lymphoma, CLL and myeloma clinics within the department in addition to new referrals, general haematology, haemoglobinopathy and thrombosis clinics. The combination of clinics for the individual post-holder will be subject to their experience and interests. Full-time consultants at this trust will generally undertake 3 clinics per week.
There are weekly regional and local MDTs which will be part of job planned activity. Acute inpatient admissions are managed. For malignant haematology, has a stand-alone MDT and a weekly meeting to discuss complex cases and transplant referrals.

We are working alongside a well established trust in the heart of Nottinghamshire who are looking for a Rheumatology Consultant to join their expanding department on a fixed term or substantive basis.
The trust has strong links with the University of Nottingham Medical School: medical students have attachments to the hospital at all stages of their training and an interest in teaching is welcomed for this post.
The successful candidate will be providing clinical and educational supervision for trainees within the department and assisting with the professional supervision and management of junior medical staff, including the observance of local employment and human resource policies and procedures.
The trust is working closely with partners in health and social care through the Mid Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Partnership to take collective responsibility for managing resources, delivering NHS standards, and improving the health of the population that they serve.
