About the Role
I am partnered with a university foundation trust seeking to appoint a clinical oncologist with an interest in Breast.
Essential criteria: UK – NHS experience.
This is a new post to support expansion of the service. The post holder will be working alongside our team providing radiotherapy and SACT for breast patients. The majority of the breast SACT including adjuvant and neoadjuvant chemotherapy is managed by our medical oncology team. Our combined oncology department is friendly, successful and ambitious which encourages and supports innovation, diversity, digital development and research. The size and stricture of the department create opportunities for rapid progression to areas of increased responsibility.
Location and relocation. We are fortunate to be based in the beautiful South West of England, with the cultural city, the rolling moors, and a multitude of stunning beaches on our doorsteps. We have low rates of crime and excellent education - schools and further education colleges are good or outstanding, and boasts a top Russell group university. We can offer you accommodation to support a visit and a relocation package should you choose to come.

Consultant Radiologist
North Yorkshire

I am recruiting for multiple positions to join this excellent District General Hospital in Yorkshire on a substantive contract. Yorkshire has recently been voted as the third best region in the world by Lonely Planet, and our local town has been voted as the best place to live in the UK by the Sunday Times, commending its top-class schools, great transport links, low crime and beautiful surrounding countryside.
Essential criteria:
Either Specialist registration or have submitted CESR.
Unfortunately this hospital cannot support international applicants at this time nor they can they help candidates with CESR or offer training.
Special interests required:
Neuro – diagnostic
Breast – symptomatic only, with another special interest and/or general. (would accept PT applications, such as 2 days a week purely breast work)
Chest – must be able to do CT guided lung biopsies
MSK – must be able to do U/S joint injections & fluoroscopy studies.
GI – diagnostic, although having NVI experience could be advantageous.
This is an opportunity to join a good team of 13 Consultant Radiologists with excellent relationships with their medical and surgical teams.
We have successfully implemented a Tele-Radiology on-call service for CT scans from 1900 hours till 0800 hours Monday to Friday and from 1730 hours till 0800 hours on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Our Services
Our main Radiology Department consists of Plain Film/X-Ray (including Fluoroscopy), CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Mammography. We also provide DEXA in our Day Hospital for the Elderly. Community clinics are provided for improved access to patients in the local area.
Community Diagnostic Centres
A new Community Diagnostic Centre that is providing additional capacity for imaging services, including: Plain Film X-Ray, Ultrasound (with and without contrast), CT (with and without contrast) and MRI (with and without contrast).
New Hospital Build
In May 2023, it was announced that our General Hospital has secured a place on the New Hospital Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for the Trust to work with hospital planning experts to configure and co-locate services to not only reflect the current needs of our population, but also looking to future needs and reflecting potential future developments in clinical care and technology. It is predicted the new hospital build will be ready by 2030.
We are part of the Yorkshire Imaging collaborative which is an ambitious project to align imaging services across the region. This will involve sharing imaging protocols and eventually workflow and reporting across the whole of Yorkshire.
Geriatric Consultant

I am partnered with an NHS trust based in the South, seeking to appoint a Geriatric consultant with an interest in Acute Geriatrics on an NHS fixed term or permanent contract.
The department are undergoing expansion with a complete emergency floor redesign and rebuild.
We are a 350 bed District General Hospital with a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services.
The successful applicant will participate in the delivery and development of services for older people in our hospital. Their timetable will be tailored to individual skills and subspeciality expertise, but likely to focus on working with existing colleagues in front door frailty.
We provide daily geriatrician led ward rounds on the medical admissions unit, frailty SDEC services, a 38 bed inpatient frailty unit, an acute stroke unit and associated rehabilitation and outpatient stroke services, orthogeriatric and general surgical liaison services, Parkinson's disease service.
We have developed a fully integrated acute frailty unit in the acute medical unit which provides daily weekday geriatrician ward rounds and MDT review. A Frailty SDEC service provides rapid access appointments, medical falls reviews and direct reviews of suitable ED patients. Geriatricians also provide ward rounds in community hospitals and input to locality virtual wards, alongside providing an advice line to local GPs, community frailty teams and paramedics.
We have close links with colleagues working in our local community hospitals with some colleagues working across the two areas providing some sessions for inpatient care in these hospitals. Our multidisciplinary department is working together towards becoming a Centre of Excellence for the Care of Older People.
The post holder would be expected to contribute to the all-age medical take, with frequency 1 in 12 weekdays and 1 in 8 weekends.
The county with its outstanding scenery and rugged coastline covers a large geographical area, characterised by several small towns, each with a distinct identity. The coastline is protected by World Heritage as a site of outstanding natural beauty.
We attract a lot of tourism as a prime holiday centre with the population doubling in the summer months since both the coastline and the countryside offer a wide range of interests for people to pursue.
There are excellent water sport facilities and was the venue for the Olympics Water sports. Cultural, sporting and social events are hosted in the county all year round and there are transport links to London, Bristol and Europe.
The county has very good state schools at all levels, and there are several private schools.
