About the Role

We are working alongside a teaching hospital situated in the vibrant Yorkshire that are currently recruiting for Consultants for their Respiratory department.

This is an exciting time to join the Respiratory Medicine department as the trust further develop sub-specialty interests.
The trust are particularly keen to hear from candidates with an interest in Lung Cancer but a variety of other sub-specialties could also be accommodated including, but not limited to, Cystic Fibrosis, Sleep and NIV, Interstitial Lung Disease, COPD and developing community respiratory care.

The lung cancer service currently makes over 300 diagnoses per year and is well supported by a full MDT including colleagues from surgical centres as well as oncology therapies. They are committed to improving lung cancer performance through a range of innovations and are seeking colleagues who are inspired to drive through service change and achieve improvements in outcomes for all patients.

Key requirements 
Full GMC Registration 
MRCP UK or MRCP Ireland 
Consultant experience in the relative field.
Could potentially consider a UK based middle grade stepping into their first consultant role

Requirements  Full GMC MRCP UK Specialist Registration  NHS Experience Main duties of the job  Liaise with other Health Care Organisations, Social Services, General, Practitioners and Voluntary Organisations as required Contribute to the teaching of other grades of staff, both within and outside the department, including medical staff and nurses. Carry out medical teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required.
