About the Role

I am partnered with an Acute NHS trust situated in Buckinghamshire seeking a Consultant - Paediatric Emergency Medicine.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy and dynamic Children’s Emergency department as a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM). This is a newly created post to lead and drive links between Paediatrics and ED.  This post will work alongside an existing PEM consultant to provide high quality care to our Children's Emergency Department (ED).


The Children's ED receives approximately 17,000 patients per year and receives both GP & self referrals from across Buckinghamshire.  We currently have 1 WTE PEM Consultants in post and work closely with our Adult ED colleagues.

In April 2023 they opened our new Children's ED, which has been purposed built and provides care to the children and young people of Buckinghamshire.   The unit contains 2 Paediatric Resus bays, individual rooms and a Children's Observation Unit.

Main duties of the job
 

  • Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of acute and emergency patients

  • To share with colleagues responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Emergency Medicine Services

  • Teaching and training of junior staff.

  • To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.

  • To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (SPA).

  • Take an active role in the process of continuous improvement

I am pleased to announce that we are partnered with an NHS trust in Greater London, who are looking to recruit a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine. Job overview The trust is seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated Consultant to join our department as a Substantive Consultant in Intensive Care, commencing in April 2026. The successful candidate will be integrated into our established 1:8 ICU on call rota and will provide high quality Direct Clinical Care within the Intensive Care Unit. During non ICU weeks, the post holder will deliver daytime DCC in a complementary speciality, preferably Anaesthetics within the Operating Theatres, supporting service needs and ensuring continuity of care across the department. The trust offers organ support, including respiratory, renal and cardiovascular systems using state of the art Philips, LidCo and PICCO monitoring. Up to ten patients may be haemofiltered. We admit between 700 to 750 patients/year: 70% are medical and 30% surgical. The surgical patients consist mainly of patients admitted after major emergency colorectal or trauma/orthopaedic procedures. High level care is also provided throughout the hospital by our 24 hour nurse-run, consultant-supported Critical Care Outreach Team. Regular audit data is collected on the MediCUS, and we participate in ICNARC. The trust uses CERNER EPR system. The intensive care consultant rota is 1:8. The consultant is supported by a team of junior doctors. There is an 1:8 registrar/speciality doctors rota and an 1:8 SHO/clinical fellows rota. The unit is recognised for training in intensive care medicine by the Intercollegiate Board. There is regular ICU teaching every Friday, MM meetings every 2 months, Speciality Mortality Review meetings every 2 week. The trust is looking to recruit 2 Locum Consultants who can start from May 2026. The Trust are seeking a Locum Consultant in Cellular Pathology (10 PAs) for a one-year fixed-term appointment to join our established team of 10 consultants within a busy, high-performing department at the trust Main duties of the job You will deliver high-quality histopathology and diagnostic cytology reporting, participate in subspecialty cancer diagnostics, provide MDT input, and contribute to autopsy and andrology services where appropriate. Responsibilities include workload management, timely reporting, audit participation, governance, teaching, and supporting service development. You will work closely with consultant colleagues, laboratory staff, and clinicians across multiple sites to ensure excellent patient care. Locum Consultant Dermatologist

About the Role I am pleased to be working with a leading Acute General Hospital that is seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant Dermatologist. The post-holder will be expected to provide a service to patients of the trust, General Practitioners and to attend multi-disciplinary meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to work within multi-disciplinary teams in providing high quality clinical care. It is anticipated work will be undertaken on three sites and closer to the patients home. The Trust is seeking to extend services to GP surgeries/health centres etc and job plans may be revised in due course. The post-holder will provide support to the A&E department and acute medicine to ensure timely appropriate care and patient flow through the hospital. The post-holder will provide consultation and advisory service to clinical colleagues in the Trust and Primary Care. The post-holder will attend cross county and cross site meetings. Consultant in General Paediatrics & Neonatology Full Time or Less Than Full Time (LTFT) London NHS Trust I’m delighted to be working with a Trust in London that is currently recruiting a Consultant in General Paediatrics and Neonatology. The Role Post holders will join the daytime general paediatric team, providing cover to the Emergency Department and ambulatory service.
