About the Role

A new vacancy has arisen for Stroke Specialty Doctors with a well represented Trust in the South West of England - you will be employed on a fixed term or permanent basis.

Requirements of the role; Full GMC registration & MRCP UK
Would like to see; UK experience, SCE in Neurology or Stroke 

Services at the trust & a brief overview of the role: 
- Team of 6 Consultant Stroke Physicians & 4 Specialty Doctors 
- 8 HASU beds for thrombolysis & Hyper Acute Stroke Care 
- 21 beds for acute care and short-term rehabilitation
- 8 bed Stroke recovery unit 
- Thrombolysis 
- Multicentre research trials across hyperacute & Acute stroke care, and Rehabilitation, as part of the South-West Stroke Research work
- Approximately 50-60 Stroke Admissions each month

I am partnered with a well-established University trust in the North West of England are recruiting substantive & fixed term Consultants into their Diabates & Endocrinology department.  The ideal candidate must have; NHS or Irish experience MRCP UK  It would be a bonus to have; specialist registration & SCE in Diabetes and Endocrinology  You will be joining a team of several Consultants, Associate Specialists & Specialty Doctors.  This is a full time (10PAs) consultant post. This new post will join the existing team to as part of the new on / off rota for the Diabetes and Endocrine Ward (Ward 26). The successful candidate will also participate in the in-patient diabetes and endocrine referral reviews. Successful candidates would form part of the Internal Medicine on-call rota as below. Ideal candidates would have research experience and help to develop our research capability; however, this is not essential, and the trust would encourage candidates with a range of subspecialty interests to apply. I am partnered with a Teaching hospital in the North West of England that are looking to recruit into their Oncology team - specifically looking for Clinical Oncologists on a substantive or fixed term basis. The trust would like to hear from Clinical Oncologists with special interests in; Gynaecology, Lung - will consider other special interests too.  Requirements; Full GMC registration (with Specialist registration or 6 months within gaining this) About the role & department itself:  First hospital in the North of England to be able to offer our patients the latest advances in robotic technology  21 Clinical Oncology Consultants, 5 Medical Oncology Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 11 Clinical Oncology Specialty Registrars, 3 Med Oncology Specialty Registrars  The role will contain approximately 7.5 - 8.5 DCC PAs (including clinic activity, admin, attending MDT's etc) Up to 2.5 PAs on average per week depending upon interests and DCC PAs with 1.5 PAs being core SPA. Services the trust can support: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and Radiotherapy.  A JD is available to review if you are interested.
