About the Role

We are delighted to be working with an Acute Hospital in Lincolnshire who are seeking a Locum Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine x 6 to join their team to join their team on fixed-term basis.


The Trust is situated in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire and is one of the biggest acute hospital trusts in England, serving a population of more than 700,000 people. We provide acute and specialist services to people in Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties. We have an annual income of £710 million (22/23) and we employ nearly 8,600 people.


The role of Consultant will be contracted to a weekly job plan of 10 programmed activities (PA).

Within our roles, we consistently strive to support the community of Lincolnshire in providing specialist medical care to those who need it. As a team, we all have an active involvement in our improvement journey to making both the organisation and the ICU an even better place to work, ultimately aiming to achieve higher standards of care in the service that we provide to our adult Patients. The ICU itself consists of 11 level 3 beds or equivalent.

As a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine, you will be working within a busy clinical department as the ‘go to’ person for providing advanced critical care to the adult Patients that need us most. Alongside this, you will be supporting other teams and departments with your expertise whether that be verbally over the telephone or by responding to them in a different ward.

Essential Criteria to apply:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice 

  • Training and experience working in an Intensive Care Unit in an acute hospital site in the UK.

  • Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) or equivalent

Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are delighted to be working with a reputable NHS trust in Devon who is looking to recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist with a special interest in ERCP to join their team. The new appointment will join a team of nine Medical Gastroenterologists, who currently work as a single team, sharing responsibility for the management of both inpatients and outpatients. The Gastroenterology unit is a lively, innovative, and cohesive department. Candidates should be independent in OGD and colonoscopy, an interest in ERCP would be accommodated. Training is an important element of our practice, and our new colleague would be encouraged to engage with the delivery of courses and in-house training. The department has received significant investment over the last 18 months, with a new £4.99m unit which opened in December 2023. Main Duties of the role Work closely with consultant staff in related specialities e.g. upper and lower GI surgery. Contribute to audit within the specialty and research if they are interested. Contribute to the training of trainee staff and medical students. Undertake clinical and / or educational supervision of trainees. Undertake CME/CPD according to the requirements of the Royal College of Physicians. Actively contribute to clinical governance within our organisation. I am partnered with a University Teaching Hospital situated in Hampshire, seeking a Locum Consultant in Haematology (Laboratory, Myeloid Disorders, Myeloma). This 12 month locum post is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Haematology Team at UHS. We are looking for a team player with an interest in laboratory haematology, myeloma and myeloid disorders, with an enthusiasm for developing the haematology diagnostic services at UHS, including the regional SI-HMDS.
