I am partnered with a Teaching hospital situated in the North West of England who are looking to expand their Histopathology department on a substantive basis, they are recruiting for a Specialist Registered Histopathology Consultant. The trust is recognised as a Cancer centre and has been appraised successfully for the following tumour sites: Breast, Lung, Head & Neck and Urology. MDTs Upper GI (medical) Tues monthly Dermatology Tues weekly Colorectal Wed weekly Urology Wed weekly Breast Fri weekly Upper GI(surgical) Fri weekly Requirements: Full GMC Registration  FRCPath Specialist Registration Several years Consultant experience    The ideal candidate will have experience in GI, Breast, Gynae, Urology and Lung The trust is based in an ideal location for those with families, with schools and Universities spread around the local area, it is well connected by road (M6,M62) with two major rail lines and easy access to two international airports. The post offers a standard 10PAs Requirements  Full GMC Registration  MRCP UK  Experience in GI and Gyne NHS experience   Main duties of the job • Take ownership of and deliver their own site-specific workload. • Contribute to the medical leadership, management, and innovation within Oncology services. • Offer support and training to all non-consultant grade doctors within the unit. • Promote inter-disciplinary working in the department and across the hospital. • To ensure that current standards and evidence-based practice are applied. • Participate in clinical audit programs, including both departmental and multidisciplinary audits. • Contribute to research and innovative practice within oncology. The trust are offering a full time position working 10PAs and a 1 in 6 on - call. They are looking for a Consultant that can cover Endoscopy's, Wards and Clinics Requirements  Full GMC Experience  MRCP UK  Post Graduate qualification  NHS Experience preferred The trust is in a ideal location offering all essential amenities for those with families, there is two airports near the trust one flying internationally.
