About the Role

We are delighted to be working alongside a well established teaching hospital in the South coast of England, who are looking for a permeant Haematology Consultant to join them.

They are looking for a Consultant with a special interest in Hematopathology 

The trust is situated on the south coast, with an international airport and direct trains to London. The New Forest National Park and beaches of the Jurassic coast are also right on your doorstep. The city offers living costs 20% lower than London and 14 schools rated outstanding by Ofsted.

Requirements 
Full GMC Registration 
FRCPath 
Specialist Registration 
NHS experience 

Some of your duties will include
  • Hands-on clinical involvement as a Consultant Haematologist, working closely with the other Consultant Haematologists in post and sharing responsibility for all haematology patients.
  • Participation and attendance at joint MDT with WAT and in the future participation in any joint on call / attending system initiated.

The trust is recognised as a Cancer centre and has been appraised successfully for the following tumour sites: Breast, Lung, Head & Neck and Urology.
