You will join a team of 4 Consultants and 1 Specialist trainee, the department forms an integral part of Clinical Pathology Services. Staff are enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated and work effectively as a team.  About 40% of the workload is from GPs and the community, with whom there are exceptional links. The department is committed to keeping turnaround times for all specimens to a minimum to the benefit of users and attaining a level of medical and technical staff, to process and authorise reports with suitable clinical input to ensure a consistent delivery on a seven-day basis.
