Consultant Medical Oncologist

I am partnered with an NHS trust based in the Midlands, seeking to appoint a Consultant Medical Oncologist on an NHS fixed term or permanent contract.

The successful post holder will join an innovative team of Consultant Oncologists and specialist Oncology care. Tumour site sub-specialities can be discussed at interview, however experience in breast oncology and melanoma oncology is preferred.

• *GMC Registration with licence to practice

• *MRCP

• Broad experience and understanding of oncology

• Specialist oncology and tumour site sub speciality experience

• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with patients, relatives and members of the clinical team

• Ability to gain confidence and trust

• Ability to cope with pressure

• Ability to respond to change

• Conscientious and hardworking

• Positive contribution to MDTs

• Flexibility in working pattern

• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with patients and their families
