About the Role

We are delighted to be working with a reputable University Hospital based in the Northwest of England who are looking to recruit a Gastroenterology Consultant. The trust will be able to accommodate special interests (HPB, Luminal etc)

The trust is situated by a stunning coastline and beautiful countryside surroundings, with easy access into city centres too.

Suitable candidates must meet the following criteria:
GMC Registration
MRCP or MRCPi
Preferably UK Experience at any grade
Experience in Gastroenterology setting

Ideally, they would like the desirable candidate to have: NHS / UK experience at any grade & Gastroenterology Consultant experience (overseas or UK). About the role & services: 10PAs ERCP, EUS, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Laster, Stenting, PEG insertion & withdrawal National bowel cancer screening services General & specialist secondary and tertiary care Endoscopy, including diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopy services Well-equipped endoscopy units with Olympus endoscopes 24/7 emergency Endoscopy service 1:14 on call GI bleed rota Education & clinical supervision of junior staff – teaching & training junior doctors Example job plans available (ward & non ward weeks).
