Consultant Gastroenterologist (ERCP lists)

I am partnered with a Teaching hospital in the North West of England that are looking to recruit into their Oncology team - specifically looking for Clinical Oncologists on a substantive or fixed term basis. The trust would like to hear from Clinical Oncologists with special interests in; Gynaecology, Lung - will consider other special interests too.  Requirements; Full GMC registration (with Specialist registration or 6 months within gaining this) About the role & department itself:  First hospital in the North of England to be able to offer our patients the latest advances in robotic technology  21 Clinical Oncology Consultants, 5 Medical Oncology Consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 11 Clinical Oncology Specialty Registrars, 3 Med Oncology Specialty Registrars  The role will contain approximately 7.5 - 8.5 DCC PAs (including clinic activity, admin, attending MDT's etc) Up to 2.5 PAs on average per week depending upon interests and DCC PAs with 1.5 PAs being core SPA. Services the trust can support: Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and Radiotherapy.  A JD is available to review if you are interested. 

A new vacancy has arisen for Stroke Specialty Doctors with a well represented Trust in the South West of England - you will be employed on a fixed term or permanent basis. Requirements of the role; Full GMC registration & MRCP UK Would like to see; UK experience, SCE in Neurology or Stroke  Services at the trust & a brief overview of the role:  - Team of 6 Consultant Stroke Physicians & 4 Specialty Doctors  - 8 HASU beds for thrombolysis & Hyper Acute Stroke Care  - 21 beds for acute care and short-term rehabilitation - 8 bed Stroke recovery unit  - Thrombolysis  - Multicentre research trials across hyperacute & Acute stroke care, and Rehabilitation, as part of the South-West Stroke Research work - Approximately 50-60 Stroke Admissions each month  The location of the trust can offer access to excellent education for those with families. Ideally, they would like the desirable candidate to have: NHS / UK experience at any grade & Gastroenterology Consultant experience (overseas or UK). About the role & services: 10PAs ERCP, EUS, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Laster, Stenting, PEG insertion & withdrawal National bowel cancer screening services General & specialist secondary and tertiary care Endoscopy, including diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopy services Well-equipped endoscopy units with Olympus endoscopes 24/7 emergency Endoscopy service 1:14 on call GI bleed rota Education & clinical supervision of junior staff – teaching & training junior doctors Example job plans available (ward & non ward weeks). Direct Clinical Care (DCC): 7.5 Programmed Activities (PAs) including 1 PA for emergency endoscopy on call/weekend (with a 3% pay uplift but no time off in lieu). This also includes 1 in 8 ward weeks and 2.5 Supporting Programmed Activities (SPA).
